Due to my roots being buried deep in rural areas of South Carolina, I have always had a strong passion for hunting and fishing. The older I have gotten, the more intense my passion has become. This past year, I have spent more time hunting than I ever have. As summer/spring approaches, I look forward to being able to spend most of my time fishing. As my passion for the outdoors have grown, my understanding and appreciation for conservation has also grown. Now I am not a good writer by any means, as it is not my strong suit. As I type this, I realize that there may be grammatical errors, and for that, I do apologize. But with everything, this blog has a purpose, and I plan to use this blog as well as social media to share about what I love.
In this blog, you will find several things. The first thing that you will find is that I love to hunt. I love to talk about hunting. I have been hunting my whole life, and believe you me, I have made many mistakes. With each mistake, comes a lesson learned. have learned a lot over the 19 years, and every season, it seems I still learn something new. While every animal is different, hunters may find similar success stories as well as tips and tricks that they can use to better themselves as a hunter. Now I am no whitetail expert by any means, but I do have a lot of success hunting whitetail, and I hope readers of this blog are able to learn from my successes, but more importantly, my failures.
The second thing that you will find in this blog is recommendations on gear. If you are like me, you are always looking for better gear to improve success as a hunter. Now gear does not make you a better hunter by any means, but the right gear can increase your success, even if its by a small percentage. A third thing you will find in this blog are experiences from not just the land, but the sea. Finally, I plan to speak on conservation habits, and how we can give back as hunters. I hope that my blog posts are helpful and beneficial. I look forward to being able to write about what I love doing.
